Atlantic City Electric is offering a unique opportunity for recent graduates to join our Summer Internship Graduate Placement Program for 2025. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in the energy sector, giving participants the chance to work on real-world projects that impact the future of energy distribution and sustainability. Responsibilities
  • Support cross-functional teams in projects related to energy distribution, infrastructure, and sustainability.
  • Assist in data analysis, energy efficiency initiatives, and performance evaluations of electric utility systems.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for operational and energy-related challenges.
  • Participate in research and analysis to support energy strategy, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend training sessions and company meetings to gain exposure to various departments and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide general support in various departments, including operations, customer service, sustainability, and technology.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate (within the past 12 months) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or similar), Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
  • Must be available to work full-time for the summer internship (typically 10-12 weeks).
  • Strong interest in the energy sector, sustainability, and electric utility operations.
Experience
  • Previous internships, academic projects, or work experience in energy, engineering, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with utility operations or renewable energy systems is an advantage.
Skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and effectively communicate ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
