The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is offering exciting internship opportunities for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience and insight into public health, policy analysis, data research, and health program management. - Assist with public health research, data analysis, and policy evaluation.
- Support ongoing public health programs and projects by providing logistical, administrative, and analytical support.
- Compile and prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in public health assessments and surveys.
- Collaborate with various teams across the department to track progress and update key program metrics.

- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Sciences, Biology, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with coursework related to public health, policy analysis, epidemiology, or data science.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Interest in public health issues and a commitment to the mission of the Minnesota Department of Health.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in public health or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, or project management is an advantage.
