Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis: Assist in conducting economic, financial, and policy research, compiling data, and contributing to the analysis of financial systems and market trends.
- Projects: Collaborate with various departments to support ongoing projects, contribute insights, and ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Work alongside experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds, sharing ideas and solutions within a collaborative environment.
- Communication: Present findings and analysis through written reports and presentations, helping to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Learning & Development: Participate in a series of structured learning activities, including workshops, networking sessions, and development opportunities led by senior Bank of England professionals.
Qualifications
- You must be in your penultimate year of study (undergraduate level) at a UK university, or be able to demonstrate equivalent academic standing.
- A strong academic background, ideally in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
Experience
- No prior professional experience is required, but any relevant work experience or internships in finance, economics, research, or policy will be considered an advantage.
- A demonstrated interest in central banking, financial markets, or the UK economy is highly desirable.
Skills
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, assess market trends, and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
