- Assist with practical conservation projects including habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, and invasive species control.
- Support the delivery of community engagement initiatives, educational programs, and events aimed at raising awareness about conservation and sustainability.
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental data, land management practices, and park usage to inform decision-making and policy development.
- Help prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and presentations related to ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with various teams within the National Park Authority, including planning, visitor services, and outreach teams.
- Participate in regular field visits to monitor and assess the park’s landscape and biodiversity.
- Contribute to the development of promotional content for social media, websites, and park newsletters.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
- Currently studying or recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Ecology, Conservation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A genuine interest in conservation, environmental management, and rural affairs.
- Knowledge of national park systems and conservation practices is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in outdoor work or volunteering, particularly in environmental conservation, will be beneficial.
- Experience working with diverse communities or conducting public outreach is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic field research techniques, data collection, or GIS is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varied outdoor environments.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic digital tools; experience with GIS software is a bonus.
