- Learning and development: Participate in structured learning modules designed to provide a solid foundation in rail operations, safety, customer service, and technical skills.

- Cross-departmental exposure: Rotate through different departments, such as engineering, operations, customer service, and administration, to gain a broad understanding of GTR’s operations.

- Education: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including English and Mathematics.

- Age: Open to individuals aged 16 or older.
