Responsibilities

As a Hamleys Intern, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks across different departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns and in-store promotions.
  • Supporting the sales team in driving customer engagement and delivering exceptional service.
  • Analyzing customer feedback and providing insights to improve the customer experience.
  • Contributing to inventory management and stock control processes.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of store events and product launches.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on various retail and business projects.
  • Assisting in administrative duties such as data collection, reporting, and preparing presentations.
  • Shadowing senior staff and learning about various roles within the business, including management and operations.
Qualifications
  • Current student or recent graduate (graduating in 2025) in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • A keen interest in the retail industry, particularly in the toys and entertainment sector.
  • Strong academic performance and motivation to learn and grow professionally
Experience
  • Previous internships or work experience in retail, marketing, or customer service is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for toys, games, and entertainment is highly desirable.
  • Any volunteer work or extracurricular involvement demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and communication skills will be an asset.
Skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
