John Menzies Aviation is offering an exciting opportunity for graduates to join our Up and Running Graduate Internship Program in 2025. Responsibilities
  • Project Participation: Engage in meaningful projects across key departments, including Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Safety, contributing to the successful delivery of services to airlines and passengers.
  • Operational Support: Work closely with operational teams to understand the daily running of ground services, such as baggage handling, aircraft loading, fueling, and customer service at airports.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Analyze operational processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Support the customer service team in maintaining strong relationships with airlines and airport partners, ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Data and Reporting: Collect and analyze performance data, preparing reports for senior management and contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and supporting safety audits.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside teams across different time zones and business functions, gaining a global perspective of the aviation industry.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in internal training programs and workshops to develop leadership, technical, and soft skills essential for a successful career in aviation.
Qualifications
  • Education: A recent graduate (2023 or 2024) with a degree in any discipline. A background in Aviation, Logistics, Business Management, or Engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the UK or other applicable locations.
  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
Experience
  • Internships/Work Experience: Prior work experience in customer service, logistics, or aviation is beneficial but not essential.
  • Academic Excellence: Strong academic record, with an interest in aviation, business operations, or global logistics.
