Responsibilities

Interns at MIA will be involved in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university or college.
  • Completion of at least one academic year of study (undergraduate) or equivalent academic progress.
  • Strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate).
  • Availability for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week for part-time internships, or full-time during summer internships.
Experience
  • Prior internship experience is not required but preferred.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities such as student organizations, volunteer work, or part-time jobs is an asset.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation-related roles is beneficial.
Skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
