Description
The MSP Airport Internship Program 2025 provides an exciting opportunity for students and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in the aviation and airport management industry. Interns will be exposed to a wide variety of departments within the airport environment, contributing to operations, customer service, logistics, and business functions while supporting MSP’s goal to deliver exceptional service to travelers and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Assist various departments, such as Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Maintenance, with day-to-day activities.
- Support in the coordination of airport events and activities.
- Contribute to data collection, reporting, and analysis related to airport operations.
- Aid in creating and improving communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with passengers to provide assistance and ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to provide insights and suggestions.
- Learn about airport safety protocols and contribute to ensuring the safety and security of passengers.
- Help with logistical support for airport processes, including baggage handling, gate management, and terminal services.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university program.
- Majors in Business, Aviation Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields are preferred.
- Current student status or recent graduate (within 12 months of graduation).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or any professional setting is a plus, but not required.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in aviation, transportation, or hospitality industries is a bonus.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
