National Fuel is seeking dynamic and motivated students to join our team as summer interns in 2025. This internship program provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the energy industry, with a focus on natural gas distribution, engineering, finance, and customer service. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals on projects that enhance National Fuel’s operations and contribute to a cleaner, more efficient energy future.
- Project Assistance: Support various projects related to natural gas distribution, engineering, finance, or customer service, depending on your field of study.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct data analysis to improve operational efficiency, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Field and Site Visits: Participate in fieldwork or site visits to gain a hands-on understanding of the natural gas industry and National Fuel’s operational processes.
- Document Preparation and Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation on project progress and findings.
- Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings and collaborate with department members to ensure successful project completion.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the energy sector, sustainability, or public utilities.
- Must have U.S. work authorization and be available to work in the summer of 2025.
- Prior internship or relevant experience in engineering, finance, customer service, or the energy industry is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis, project management, or technical documentation is a plus.
- Familiarity with energy industry practices, regulations, or environmental sustainability is advantageous.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving; able to identify patterns and make recommendations.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of engineering principles, financial analysis, or customer service best practices, depending on your area of focus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate findings clearly.
