Responsibilities
As a Public Health Intern, you will:
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of public health data to inform policies and programs.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs and campaigns.
- Participate in research activities, including literature reviews, surveys, and data collection.
- Collaborate with local health authorities, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

- Provide administrative support to the public health team as needed
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Applicants must have completed their undergraduate studies no more than 18 months prior to the start date of the internship.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required. However, any relevant experience, such as volunteer work or academic projects related to public health, will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with public health issues, health systems, and epidemiological principles is preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in improving public health.
