The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is offering summer internship opportunities for 2025, providing hands-on experience in cutting-edge scientific and technological research. Responsibilities
  • Contribute to real-world projects within STFC’s scientific, technical, or operational teams.
  • Assist in research, data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings.

  • Support the development, testing, and implementation of advanced technologies or methodologies.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in a relevant field such as physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, business, or environmental science.
  • Expected to graduate in 2025 or later.
Experience

Experience

  • Previous academic or work experience related to science, technology, or operations is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for research, technology, or innovation through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools, software, or programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, CAD, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
