Description
The Tampa International Airport Internship Program provides an invaluable opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic airport environment. Responsibilities
- Support Airport Operations: Assist in daily operations, including passenger services, security, and terminal management.
- Project Assistance: Contribute to various projects, performing research, data collection, analysis, and reporting as needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, presentations, and report generation.
- Customer Service: Engage with passengers, providing information and assistance to enhance the traveler experience.
- Event Coordination: Assist with airport events, including planning, setup, and execution.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with different departments to gain a holistic understanding of airport functions and operations.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in aviation management, business administration, engineering, marketing, communications, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
Experience
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in aviation, transportation, or customer service is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in airport management, operations, or the aviation industry.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
