Responsibilities
- Conduct research and assist in the development of new research projects under the guidance of senior researchers and principal investigators.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical software and laboratory tools.
- Assist in the preparation of research papers, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Participate in laboratory experiments and clinical studies as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, seminars, and other academic events.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to research, including maintaining databases, preparing documentation, and handling research-related correspondence.
- Contribute to literature reviews and support ongoing projects by reviewing current trends and advancements in medical research.
- Support the coordination of research activities with various internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a graduate program (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Biomedical Science, Healthcare, Engineering, Public Health, Life Sciences, or similar disciplines.
- Strong academic background with an interest in research and healthcare innovation.
- A passion for learning and developing skills in research methodologies and clinical practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a research or academic environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to laboratory work, clinical trials, or data analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with scientific research methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative research techniques, is beneficial.
- Prior experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB) and laboratory tools (e.g., PCR, Western blotting, etc.) is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
